New stretch target
If I meet the stretch target I would be able to bring even more new pieces to the exhibition. The freedom of creative exploration that this amount of money would bring would be so wonderful.
In March 2021 I launched my Crowdfunder to help me to expand my product range. Thanks to the wonderful response to this campaign I was able to significantly uplift my product range and refine the quality. So much so that I went from zero stockists to over 30 in 6 months.
The experience of Crowdfunding was magical, and a massive confidence boost at a really critical time for me. You can read more in this blog.
You truly stirred love and support into my heart with that last campaign - love, and support that sticks with me to this day.
I'm here to ask you once more for your support.
In July I'll be opening my first ever solo exhibition.
This is another big step for me and I am so excited.
The exhibition will showcase a wide range of new illustrative works including prints and fresh new fabric pattern designs that I'm currently furiously working on!
The exhibition will be held at Pen Gallery. A wonderful community-led gallery and non-profit shop on Kingland Crescent, a whole street that celebrates independents.
To pull off this big project not only will I need to prepare the new artworks, but I will need to fund the prints and fabric printing, framing, upholstery, and furniture. This will be a significant upfront cost - today I'm asking for your assistance with this.
