Who are we?
We are Down Camogie. We want to level the playing field!
Community Impact:
We have members from over twenty two clubs and we have almost three hundred girls who represent their communities on the various Down teams.
When the girls join a squad they form friendships for life, they learn life skills, they become team players, they become leaders on the field and off the field.
Why are we crowdfunding?
We are fundraising for our juvenile and senior teams who during the pandemic were severely impacted by not having any games, for two years the u14, U16 and minor teams in particular had no intercounty games or training and this had a huge impact on how they could meet friends from other areas in the county. We now want to provide them with things that they have never had access to before because we just couldn't afford it, with your financial help we can provide the girls with advice on nutrition and hydration, strength and conditioning training specific to their own individual needs, all the equipment and gear that is needed to help them perform at the highest levels. Provide transport so they can travel all over Ireland to play the game they love.
How we’ll spend the money raised:
We will spend the money raised on providing nutrition and hydration advice, strength and conditioning training, providing training for our coaches so they can provide the best training for the girls. Supply kits for the girls so they can have an identity that is immediately associated with Down Camogie.

There are four simple ways to help us reach our target, and make this project a reality.
