SURVIVOR TO THRIVER! Empowerment Through Art

I am fundraising to bring together one hundred women who have experienced domestic abuse to create photographic work for a public exhibition

I am fundraising to provide free creative workshops for survivors of domestic abuse and to facilitate an exhibition of their work at Brighton Fringe Festival 2025.

Art is a powerful tool in sharing our experiences and supporting our healing journey. Art as activism meets creative health in this programme of events where female survivors can join together to create original work and bring attention to their unique stories.

Being a survivor myself, I spent four years being supported by an invaluable and talented community of women.  Many support groups do not get the opportunity to share their work and this is something that I want to change!

From December 2024 to April 2025, I plan to provide free photography and creative writing workshops to support women on their journey and exhibit their work as part of a public exhibition in a professional gallery for the Brighton Fringe Festival 2025.

The money raised will be used to support the women to create work in a safe space and to bring the exhibition together.

Let's work together to help transform hardship into positive social change.

Got an idea like this?

Over £200 million has been raised from our crowd to support the projects they love! Plus tens of millions more unlocked by our partners.
