D1C1 Community Christmas: Christmas Day for Care Leavers
(A Care Leaver is a young person between the ages of 18-25 who has lived in care as a child)
This year we are excited to host a Festive & Fun Christmas Day celebration for 90 Care Leavers from across Birmingham & Sandwell! We want to make Christmas day extra special for our young people who may not have family or friends to celebrate with. So we are coming together as a community to celebrate with food, activities, gifts & all the fun!
Sponsor a Box: Rucksacks for the Homeless
For the 4th year running, Sponsor a Box is Back! This is where it all started in 2020 & this year we are calling our community to Sponsor a Rucksack for the Homeless. On Christmas Eve we will be handing out 100 rucksacks full of Winter essentials for those without a home this Christmas! We will also offer a hot meal and a warm space to sit and eat.
