Spore Studios: A Creative Haven for London Artists

The Challenge

London's artistic landscape faces a funding crisis. England's public arts investment (£500 million) lags behind Berlin (€1 billion), making it difficult for artists to pursue their passions. Rising living costs and limited access for ethnic minorities exacerbate the issue.

Our Mission:

Spore Studios aims to address these challenges by providing:

• Affordable Studio Space: Affordable professional memberships starting at £199/month.
• Inclusive Community: 25% of memberships reserved for artists in need.
• Specialised Equipment: Access to a wide range of tools and materials.
• Networking & Education: Workshops, mentorship, and community connections.
• Youth Development: Saturday Kids Art Club.

What we're crowdfunding for:
We seek £30,000 to secure a 3,500+ sq ft (or bigger if we can! More space = more artists supported) studio in Hackney. Your donation will help us create a vibrant hub for London's artists. The first of many.

Who are we?

A London native, Kyle is passionate about giving back to the city that shaped him. His brand management, marketing and fundraising experience, will be instrumental in meeting the aims of our organisation.

A Scottish-born, Hackney- based designer, Ross graduated from Grays School of Art and brings 9 years of experience across Art, Fashion, and Beauty.
