HELP OUR DISABLED FRIEND TO TRAVEL TO THE UNIVERSITY
Our friend is a Ph.D student in the UK, and he has mobility impairment which means that he uses a wheelchair. As a wheelchair user, travel is often difficult, and he relies on a taxi to travel.
Our friend is also currently seeking asylum. As an asylum seeker, he is not entitled to mainstream funding/public funds. He has also approached the university for help, but they have been unable to contribute to his travel costs. As a result, he has not been able to travel to his university since this term. He needs your help with his transportation to and from the university so that he can use the library and meet with his colleagues/supervisor.

He needs £4,500 a year to cover the cost of a taxi to and from the university. Any support you can provide to help reach this target would be gratefully received.
