Ambulances to Ukraine AND win a PlayStation 5
Claire, Vic, Chan, Ginny and Louise (aka Mums4MightyConvoy) are aiming to raise £7000 for an ambulance which two of us will drive to Ukraine as part of a convoy in early June.
We are supporting Mighty Convoy, a volunteer-only organisation set up in 2022 by four friends (including convoy leader Simon Brake and our Mums4MightyConvoy team member Louise) to buy and deliver ex-NHS ambulances and other aid to Ukraine.
So far 20 ambulances have been delivered to Ukraine, each with a different team of volunteer drivers led by Simon. Mighty Convoy has a longstanding partnership with the Christian Medical Association of Ukraine (CMAU), who take charge of the ambulances in either Poland or Ukraine and make sure they get where they are needed.

This time around, we have had the generous donation of a PS5 to offer as a prize to encourage funds, so we've set up this prize draw to help us raise the money we need.
An entry can make you feel good, make a genuine difference to countless lives AND you might win the amazing new PS5 Digital.
What's not to like? Please support!
Ambulances are desperately needed
The number of casualties - civilian and military - from the war in Ukraine is mounting fast: ambulances are urgently needed to save lives and take the wounded to safety.
Russian attacks are frequent and intense and there is a lack of ambulances to assist in saving lives. According to UN statistics, an average of 42 civilians have been killed or wounded every day since the war began.
The vast majority are victims of explosive weapons with wide area effects, such as rockets, in territory controlled by the Government of Ukraine, leaving many survivors with life-changing injuries. Military casualties are not published, but send these statistics soaring much, much higher.
What if the war was here, in the UK, and our families needed medical help?
...is the question that all of us on the team have found ourselves asking.
We would want people in neighbouring countries to support.
This is a chance for us all to do something small that will make a huge difference.
Your Money Goes A Long Way
Mighty Convoy has no paid staff. Everyone involved in this project is a volunteer, including our group of mums, so every penny given will go directly to the cost of buying the ambulance, fuel and insurance etc.
Please support. Each ambulance costs £7000. Ideally, we'd like to raise enough to buy two ambulances, and four of us will join the convoy!
The Prize
A brand new PS5 could be yours! Sony's latest console - the PlayStation 5 Digital Edition - is a hot new product and an instant classic: lightning-fast loading, deeper immersion, adaptive triggers and 3D Audio.
The prize draw is open until 11.59 pm on Sunday 26th May 2024. You may enter multiple times, including via post. For more information see the Terms and Conditions. Please note: the optional tip on the checkout is a contribution to the Crowdfunder platform and does not go towards the money we are raising.

Please give generously
We're hoping that at least four ambulances will be taken out on Mighty Convoy's next trip, leaving on June 2nd, and that one of them will be funded from the proceeds of this prize draw.
