In 2017 I started https://www.supergoodbikersforautism.com/ a fundraising community to support local Autism charities with funding, but it was alos to create a community for autistic bikers, as well as parents who look after or have autistic children & adults to have a place to talk.
However it is difficult to get autistic kids and adults out on the bike without a carer...
So the plan was hatched recently to purchased a bike & sidecar specifically for taking out autistic and disabled kids & adults, either on our ride outs of as a free service to local carers to experience the joys of motorcycling ..
In 2025 we plan to apply for charity status but I need to be providing a few services before we can formally apply and the sidecar is the way to unlock this and hopefully provide more and more options for sidecar days out over the next 5 years.
