Dear Friends & Supporters.
My name is Rosie and I am a 30 year old aspiring designer for film & television. I grew up in the historic town of Dorchester, Dorset, where my brother Alex and I were raised by our incredible mother, who as a single parent, created a warm and loving home for us. Despite early challenges, I was fortunate enough to earn a place at Central Saint Martins in London, where I graduated with a BA in Performance Design, Set and Practice.
My journey hasn't been easy and my early years impacted my confidence. However with unwavering support of my family - especially my Mum, Karen Crisp and my grandparents, Pam and Bill Newton - I developed the resilience needed to pursue my passion. Today I am closer than ever to achieving my dream of becoming a designer for film and television.
I was honoured to be selected from a pool of 500 applicants to study at the prestigious National Film and Television School (NFTS) in Beaconsfield. Now in my second year, I have already worked on multiple films, one of which has won an award and been showcased in the U.S. My tutors have praised my dedication, work ethic and talent, and I have been fortunate to collaborate with directors who recognise my potential.
However I am now facing a financial challenge that puts my place at NFTS at risk. I need to raise £2,300 to cover my remaining tuition fees and another £2,000 for 4 months rent. Any contribution, no matter the amount, would make a meaningful difference in helping me continue this journey.
Your generosity would not only support my education but also bring me one step closer to a career. Who knows - one day you might (collectively) appear in the credits of a blockbuster film!.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart for any support you can provide.
With Gratitude
Rosalind Crisp
