We're still collecting donations
On the 29th February 2024 we'd raised £504 with 12 supporters in 28 days. But as every pound matters, we're continuing to collect donations from supporters.

On the 29th February 2024 we'd raised £504 with 12 supporters in 28 days. But as every pound matters, we're continuing to collect donations from supporters.
The extra money raised would go towards materials and storage for the studio. Also chairs for people taking part in any classes.
For those that don't know me, I moved to Scotland just over 2 years ago, following a serious life changing car accident.
I have been gradually building my art practice since moving, selling and exhibiting and building the social media following organically.
have been fortunate enough to be offered a studio within an artists/creatives collective called Narture in Ayr. It's a wonderful opportunity to be part of, being surrounded by other creative people to bounce ideas off and inspire each other. Narture also gives me the opportunity to hold and take part in workshops and exhibitions, not to mention increasing public exposure to my work. There is also a retail space where we are able to sell what we produce to the public.
The rent each month for my space is £165 per month all in which is a bargain! However, being on Universal Credit and PIP it is a huge amount to me so I am hoping to raise the first 3 months rent. This will give me time to set up small classes within my space which will form the main source of income for the rent. Long term, I want to be able to escape the benefit system and earn my living doing what I am passionate about!
