The Strongtower Foundation

RCN 1195771, London

The Strongtower Foundation is a charity supporting victims of Modern Slavery. We provide a safe place to recover from trauma and rebuild their lives through counselling and workshops.

Why The Strongtower Foundation?

We are an essential support system for survivors, providing accommodation, care, and advice when they need it most. A safe home is not a luxury but a critical element to their safety and freedom. Without it, many would fall back into danger.

The Issue

Slavery still exists in the UK. "It is the human rights issue of our time" - Theresa May

In 2020 there were an estimated 136,000 modern slaves living in the UK. This figure has multiplied since the pandemic with an increase in domestic violence, homelessness and youth crime / county lines.

After 45 days of government care, victims are released with little to no support, which creates a massive gap in the rehabilitation process for those who have been trafficked and exploited.

Our Solution

We provide a safehouse offering holistic support for women to regain their lives. Our accommodation is a safe place to recover from trauma and rebuild their lives through workshops and therapy.

What We Do?

WE ARE SO MUCH MORE THAN JUST A SAFEHOUSE

Our volunteer lead 12-month programme provides holistic care and support to heal the whole person: mind, body, and soul.

We aim to transform VICTIMS into SURVIVORS. Empowering them to transition into INDEPENDENT LIVING

What We Want?

Our MISSION is simple

  • We want to empower victims who have been trafficked and give them confidence and skills to live independently and be functioning members of their community.

  • Our VISION is to engage the community to fight human trafficking together. We train volunteers to support victims and work with local organisations to raise awareness and equip our communities to help end modern slavery.

Working together, we can make a difference!
