We are Unshaded Arts, an international theatre company dedicated to producing new plays that shine a light on universal stories driven by marginalized voices. Founded in 2016 by Chiedza Rwodzi and Hassan Govia, our mission is to foreground and contextualize the narratives and experiences of those overlooked by the majority, particularly by ethnicity.
Our latest production, "Strangers & Revelations," written by Chiedza Rwodzi has been selected and set to tour to Kenya then Zimbabwe and the United Kingdom. This captivating play delves into themes of mental health and relationships, aligning perfectly with our company’s mission to unearth well-rounded characters that are not only relatable but entertaining and captivating.
