Promoter & Benefactor

• The promoter(s) of this prize draw is Kestle Barton: Rural Centre for Contemporary Arts run by The Kestle Barton Trust. Registered address: Kestle Barton, Manaccan, Helston, Cornwall TR12 6HU. Registered charity number 1156747. 
• The benefactor(s) of this prize draw is the Kestle Barton Festival of Children's Literature (Story Days) produced by The Kestle Barton Trust. Registered address: Kestle Barton, Manaccan, Helston, Cornwall TR12 6HU. Registered charity number 1156747. 

Eligibility

• The prize draw is open to residents of the United Kingdom aged 18 years and over. Employees of the Promoter or the Benefactor and their immediate families, as well as anyone connected with the draw, are not eligible to enter.

Entry Method

• To enter, participants can purchase prize draw entries via this Crowdfunder campaign. Entrants may enter as many times as they like.
• Free entry is also available by post. See the prize draw page for the free entry postal address. Further details about the free entry route rules are below.

Dates

• The prize draw opens on 12 April and closes on 31 May at 10am. Entries received outside this period will not be counted.

Prize Details

• The main prize is one week stay (Friday - Friday booking) in Kestle Barton Artist Apartment. This is a one-bedroom cottage with a double bed and the prize is for occupancy of 2 x adults. A full working kitchen, free parking and shower are included in the amenities. The prize can be used in a week to be arranged between 6 June - 31 October 2025, subject to the Kestle Barton schedule and availability.
• The main prize is non-exchangeable, non-transferable, and no cash alternatives will be offered.
• There are 4 other prizes available: 2 x prizes each of 2 different limited edition prints (LEPs) by artist Mike McInnerney depicting the beautiful local surroundings of Kestle Barton.
• The LEPs prizes are non-exchangeable, non-transferable, and no cash alternatives will be offered.

Winner Selection

• Winners will be selected randomly from all eligible entries using a randomised software. 
• The draw will take place on Saturday 31 May 2025, and the winners will be notified by email within 5 days of the draw taking place. 
• Winners must claim their prize by responding to the email within 7 days of being notified. Failure to claim the prize in time will result in another winner being drawn.
• Winners will be announced publicly via the Crowdfunder project page within 15 days of the close date. Further details about publicity are below.

Personal Data

• Any personal data collected for the purpose of this prize draw will be used solely for administering the draw and contacting the winner(s).
• The data will be handled in accordance with UK data protection legislation and will not be shared with third parties without the entrant's consent.

Free Entry

• Free entry to the prize draw is available by post, and full details on how to enter for free are clearly displayed on the Crowdfunder project page.
• To enter by post, entrants must send their full name, contact details, and the name of the prize draw on a postcard or in an envelope with correctly paid postage.
• Entries must be sent via post and will not be accepted if delivered by hand.
• Entries with insufficient or incorrect postage will be void.
• Only one entry is permitted per envelope or postcard. Multiple entries within a single envelope will be disqualified.
• Free postal entries will be given an equal chance of winning as paid entries.

Publicity

• By entering, winners agree to allow the promoter and/or benefactor to use their name and image for publicity purposes, unless they request anonymity at the time of claiming the prize.

Disclaimers and Amendments

• The promoter reserves the right to amend or cancel the prize draw if circumstances beyond their control make this unavoidable. Any changes will be communicated on the Crowdfunder project page.
• Crowdfunder is not the promoter of this prize draw and is not liable for the content or operation of this prize draw.
