I have been reading Steinbeck, and can't help but feel empowered with the spirit of revolutionary zeal. Hopefully what small contribution vaguely comfortable middle-class folks like me can make is of some use to bettering the dismal lot of the Dorsetshire proletariat, who as a result of attending these workshops will no doubt be imbued with the knowledge and skills necessary to rise up against their oppressors and bosses, strike them down (or perhaps tar and feather them) and take their rightful place as the common (co-operative!) owners of the means of production! a great idea from great people who make a lovely magazine, and I wish you all the best. (how do the unemployed proletariat have their custard? lumpen!)

Good luck Jonny, Abby, Looks like you have got off to a good start. I enjoyed the well organised hike you put on earlier this year - I am sure you will do a good job with this too. Hope you hit the big 1000 tonight. Dom
