Castle & Coast Therapies (previously called SILC) offers low-cost counselling to anyone living in or around Launceston & Bude. Castle & Coast Therapies was set up during the Covid 19 pandemic as a response to the increased demand for mental health support and the lengthy waiting lists. Castle & Coast Therapies also allows our Level 4 trainee counsellors to gain the 100 practice hours they require to become fully qualified.

Step into Learning has been successfully running counselling courses for a number of years and have created Castle & Coast Therapies to provide a beneficial low-cost counselling service to the communities of Launceston and Bude.

A Counselling Coordinator manages the provision with two counselling supervisors to ensure the highest ethical practice is maintained and that the client and the trainee counsellor can meet in a safe environment. All of the management team are highly qualified with years of specialised training and experience.

All of the money raised will go directly towards the running costs of Castle & Coast Therapies so we can continue to offer the service at a low cost e.g. paying for the Therapies Co-ordinator role, covering venue hire for the counselling sessions, printing leaflets to promote the service.
