Start Up - Running Duck Productions Ltd.

Aim: Running Duck Productions is a Bath-based production company specialising in new writing theatre and live comedy/entertainment

Right now, our biggest expense is the physical side of putting on a show; things like set, lighting, and costume. It’s what brings our creative ideas into the real world, and funding would make a huge difference in helping us fully realise that vision.

We’ve started to build a lovely audience in our hometown of Bath (thank you if that’s you!), but reaching new people beyond word of mouth has been a bit of a challenge. While we keep our marketing low-cost and in-house, a bit of extra funding would let us run targeted social media ads to help more people discover what we’re doing.

And finally, while we always prioritise paying our artists and creatives fairly, it’s often the producers and directors who take the hit; often postponing or even waiving their fees to make sure the show goes ahead. Your support would help us start to pay back the amazing team that’s put so much time and energy into getting Running Duck off the ground.
