On the 7th October 2020 we'd raised £5,101 with 71 supporters in 56 days. But as every pound matters, we're continuing to collect donations from supporters.

New stretch target
All funds will go to the families on a month by month basis until they are able to return to work. it will only provide a very basic level of subsistence but that would be a life saving help. When the families are able to return to work any additional funds will be available to the most needy as an additional donation.
After the fabulous response to the initial appeal which kept the guys and their families going, we have had loads of regular guests offering more support. Until now, as proud people the team have preferred not to rely on the charity others and have managed with the limited income we could generate.
We will be able to be self sufficient until the end of the year keeping the wolves from the door but the winter months of January and February will be extremely difficult once more.
With the coming of spring we feel a new dawn and believe that we will be over the worst business wise that the pandemic can bring. As such we would again ask for your support for the teams families to bridge that final gap.
As before we will run a monthly competition to win a free stay at Roots. It is free to enter but we would encourage donations with your entry.
We need to raise around €2500 per month just to provide a very basic living for the team.
