St Werburghs Community Centre has been providing a range of services, courses and events for local residents for over 50 years. Set in a beautiful Victorian building, bursting full of character, our modern multi-purpose venue offers affordable rates and accessible spaces for both private and public events. But we are more than just a venue for hire. Explore, take a tour and find out more about what your local community centre can provide for you. We have a range of family and wellbeing services available, digital inclusion support and a vibrant range of events and classes run throughout the year.

Our community give voice to the celebrations and challenges of Bristol. Sharing their experiences that help shape our Community Centre. Our Association makes this possible through the running of the Centre. From our projects to our events and activities, to its wider member groups, it prides itself in being an inclusive organisation.
The Community Centre is not political or religious which allows it to be used by people of all faiths, cultures, sexual orientation, ethnic backgrounds, abilities, ages, and from all walks of life. Class teachers, individuals, charities, community and voluntary groups and sports groups may all come together to use this space and feel a part of something bigger.
Your support
With your support we can positively impact the lives of those in our community. We can keep our doors open and provide a warm space that promotes healthy living, creativity, and battles loneliness.
All while still running and supporting vital services and groups including the food share (Food parcels for fmailies each week), free community cooking and computer classes, free open access computers, free community feasts for elders, art club, SEND kids groups, business support to beome more financially indepedant, volunteering, sports clubs, tai chi for over 50’s, gardening club and sustainable living activities.
With the cost of living becoming more of a issue, we are helping people to take an active roll in becoming more independent and living better lives. Taking some of the strain and stress off and being able to focus on more positive outcomes.
We encourage people to get up and moving their bodies and now have 29 sports or active classes EACH Week!
St Werburghs provides, not only the unique space and much needed facilities for the community to use and grow. But unites a community, where people are valued for their own individuality and can socialise together no matter what.
