We're still collecting donations
On the 2nd December 2021 we'd raised £1,135 with 27 supporters in 42 days. But as every pound matters, we're continuing to collect donations from supporters.

My name is Nik McEwan and I have been a Director of St Mary’s Adi Hospital in Uganda for 3 years.
I got involved in the project after meeting founder Paul Oyo, who saw me on LinkedIn and asked for my help. After learning about the project and about how the people in this beautiful but poverty-stricken part of the world had to travel many miles to the nearest hospital, I knew I had to help.
I have visited the hospital and met some of the people it has helped.
Paul told me of a young boy called Kenny, who has severe learning difficulties, he was abandoned near the hospital. He was small, weak and malnourished. They were not sure if he’d make it. The hospital staff took him in and treated him.
When I later visited I met Kenny. He was thriving. He was in great physical shape and was able to lead a fulfilling life. It is not easy to receive help and support in Uganda for children with disabilities. The hospital has played a crucial role in allowing Kenny to live a happy and safe life.
I personally support the hospital financially, but this is not enough and I need your help.
Coronavirus has meant funding for the hospital has reduced drastically. Local business people who have been hit by the pandemic simply can’t afford to fund the project anymore.
Raising £3,000 would ensure the hospital can continue to serve the people of Busana, Uganda, for the next six months while we apply for charity status for the project, which would open up more funding streams and allow us to fundraise.
Our dream is to expand the hospital, to add more services and also to eventually build a new school in the village where young mothers can be educated.
Please give generously – any amount is truly appreciated – and help me to help the dedicated staff at St Mary’s Adi Hospital continue their life-saving work. Thank you.
