St John’s Preschool, Crowborough is nestled on the outskirts of the Ashdown Forest. It is a registered charity and is run as a non-profit making organisation by a committee of parents.
Unfortunately over the weekend during Storm Eunice, a large tree has fallen and destroyed the children's play area, taking down the mud kitchen, garden hut and hanging jungle gym as well as many of the outside toys stored within the hut.
The outside space for our children is so important for they’re play and well being, especially during the pandemic it was a real life line in particular to the children who may not have access to an outside play area.
We are continuously trying to raise funds all year round to keep the preschool alive, but this has really set us back and we are relying on friendly neighbours to help us out at this time with their garden space.
Please help us raise much needed funds to give the children a place to play, watch wildlife and enhance their well-being again.
Our attempt to repair damage of a much loved preschool play garden is so beneficial to our whole community.
