New nets for the SSCC to allow better training facilities for juniors and adults.

Having been a member of the club for the more than 15 years Stony has become more of a second home for me. I've played all the way through the junior section and all the senior teams and have used the current nets more times than I can remember. Being able to get new nets will give the opportunity for so many young cricketers to develop their skills, love the game and the cricket club for many years to come!

On Sunday, 25th August, I will be taking on an exhilarating challenge: a parachute jump! I am doing this not just for the thrill but to raise much-needed funds for our club. We are aiming to raise £58,000 to invest in new training nets, which will significantly enhance our facilities and benefit everyone involved with the club, from young aspiring cricketers to seasoned players.

The new nets are essential for us to provide a safe and effective training environment. They will enable our players to develop their skills and enjoy the game even more. As a coach, I see firsthand how improved facilities can make a huge difference in the development and enjoyment of our young players.

I am passionate about this cause and committed to making a difference. But I can't do it alone – I need your support! Any donation, no matter how small, will bring us closer to our goal. Your generosity will directly impact our community, providing better opportunities for current and future generations of cricketers at Stony Stratford CC.

Thank you so much for your support and for being a part of this incredible journey.
