As you know, schools are under more financial pressure than ever before, especially schools in Devon.
School funding has not kept pace with rising cost and the challenges children and families face following the pandemic.
The school is finding it increasingly hard to pay for even simple resources and activities so we are asking for support for some of our fundamental requirements.
Contributing to our Spring Crowdfunder will help us to support our children by going towards funding the resources and requirements listed below.
- SEN Sponsorship - £2500
Help children with Special Educational Needs - this money will help children who need to have a Dyslexia assessment or to see an Educational Psychologist (which can cost the school up to £900 per child). - Post Covid Catch-up Support - £1000
This will go towards helping two children attend breakfast club with teaching for a year, meaning they get a good meal at the start of the day, but also have some support with catching up emotionally and educationally post pandemic. - Resources ‘Pack’ - £500
Includes A4 paper, whiteboard pens, pencils, exercise books, handwriting pens, glue sticks etc. - Reading books to support the curriculum - £250
This will buy all the reading books we need for the school across one of our key curriculum subjects.
