As a club we have not outgrown our current facility and would like to develop a 3G pitch for use with all junior teams and local community

by Lee McAllister in Oldham, Greater Manchester, United Kingdom

 New stretch target

We need to find 20% of funding which is approx £100k so all this along with other fundraising actions will form part of this.

Who are we?

We are a local community football club with over 500 active members (players and coaches) ages ranging from 4 years old up to open age teams. The club is entering it's 100th year and is a significant hub within the community and has been for a number of years.

Why are we crowdfunding?

We have currently outgrown our current facility and desperately need to expand the clubhouse and update the current grass pitch to a 3g facility.

How you can play your part

There are four simple ways to help us reach our target, and make this project a reality.

1. Make a pledge. Don’t delay if you’re going to support us because momentum is key to our success!

2. Spread the word. Share our project on your social media pages and tell the world to get behind us! The more people we reach, the more support we will get.

3. Offer rewards. Get involved if you are a local business by donating things we can offer to our supporters. We will give you a shout out!

4. If you want to run your own fundraiser to support us, maybe a sponsored activity or similar, use the 'contact project' button at the top of our page to let us know. Setting up your own page only takes a few minutes and you won’t need any bank details. Just a fun idea!

How we’ll spend the money raised

This swill go towards supporting other funding to replace current clubhouse and existing grass pitch

Community impact

We intend to develop partnerships with local schools so they can use the facility during school hours therefore making this facility accessible to thousands of children in the community.
