The global COVID-19 pandemic has created a very uncertain landscape for millions of people worldwide. Here in Barrow we are seeing great need among the many people we already support in the area, but also a great many more across the community. Walney Community Trust seek to serve the community by offering support through delivering food parcels, shopping, collecting prescriptions and offering online support and phone calls.
We have set up a community food hub to provide this service and offer the help people need. All of our projects are reliant on funding and donations and we are so thankful for the kind support people have given to pass onto the most vulnerable.
