Aim: I am raising money for ChildFirst where they would like to invest in solar panels for schools in Sri Lanka to improve education.
I am raising money for a charitable cause that is very important to me so please donate and help me reach my target in aid of CHILD FIRST (UK). Anything you can contribute towards helping me achieve my target will be massively appreciated.
ChildFirst is a UK-based charity (registration number: 1132597) working together to improve the education of children in the Northern and Eastern parts of Sri Lanka. We are doing the charity walk to support the maintenance of the Skills Development Centre, which opened in 2015 with more than 500 students enrolled. The purpose of this Centre is to give students and young adults the opportunity to study basic IT, English, music, and dance to boost their careers. Due to unprecedented rises in electricity costs, running the building has become increasingly difficult. Hence, Child First UK would like to invest in solar power projects to help the Centre's aim to become self-sufficient while also aiding the environment. We are aiming to raise to fund the purchase and installation of these solar panels.
