Sponsored Shave for Compassion UK

My family have been a child sponsor with Compassion UK for about 6 year now.  Our sponsored child lives in rural Columbia and we love writing to him and receiving letters from him; hearing about his schooling, hobbies and friendships.

Since 1952, the work that Compassion UK do transforms the lives of the children sponsored, their families and the whole communities in which they are located.  The sponsorship monies are used to provide food, education, health care and mentorship to children in many of the world's most deprived areas.  Linking their work with partner churches in the local areas means that children receive a boost to their physical, social and spiritual health.  They protect the children in their projects from grooming by gangs, human trafficking and child marriage.  For more information, you can visit Compassion UK's website: https://www.compassionuk.org/sponsorship/
