Making Progress
Pug Girl is very excited by all the support she has received over the last day and is so very proud for having raised £75 in only a day! It's the most money she's ever raised and she is so thankful that so many people want to help her help the Pugs. She's made a little flyer which she's handed out to her favourite coffee shops where she likes to curl up with a book and hopes it will generate some more interest in her cause.
She has also begun reading her books and is making excellent progress. You can find more information on her chosen books on our personal website and blog if you are interested, but as of right now she has read:
- Pugly Bakes a Cake
- Pugly on ice
- Pugly solves a crime
- Pirate Pug
- Pugs of the Frozen North
She is halfway through "The Pug who wanted to be a bunny" and I am quickly running out of pug books. Who knew she could read so fast? We do have several on order with the library though and they should be with her shortly.
I plan to read 30 big girl chapter books in 30 days. I want all 30 books to have animals in them and I will keep you updated on what books I have read and what I think of them. Please support me and my Pug friends by donating as much as you can.
I am 7 years old and I love pugs. I have two pugs and it makes me sad when they are sad but they have me and my mum to love them. There are pugs who are sad and don’t have anyone. There are pugs who are sick and don’t have anyone. I am not old enough to be there for all the pugs, so I want to raise money to help the adults be there for them. Please help me help the pugs!
Thank you.
