We believe that the children at Lodge Lane Infant School deserve the best possible start to school life. We want to create an unforgettable learning experience and memories they will cherish as they become lifelong learners.

This year has been tricky for many people and our children have been so amazingly resilient on the return to school.

We have been focusing on our school values since our  return and two of those have been challenge and perseverance, we are teaching our children  to do just that. They have been practising daily running challenges and through many other tasks over the past few weeks.

We felt it was important to set an example for our children by setting a challenge for ourselves and to raise as much as we can for our new playground project.

A number of grown ups took on a running challenge at Easter - this time it is the children's turn to participate in a challenge.

The money raised will be put towards the renovate of the playground located by the reception classes, the total cost of the project will be in excess of £25,000 and so this is the first of many fundraisers towards the improvement of the playground. This is how the playground currently looks
