Since May 2022, the Korosten region of Ukraine, despite ongoing threats, has been a refuge for families displaced by war.
In June 2022, the SafeHouse project was launched in the village of Iskorost to provide temporary shelter and essential support for vulnerable families, including those with seriously ill children and children with disabilities.
Over the past 2.5 years, more than 50 families have benefited from SafeHouse’s services.
Families receive free housing, food, hygiene products, and essential supplies, supported entirely by the Eleon Charitable Foundation.
Why We Need Your Help:
Operating the SafeHouse costs 18,550 UAH (£355) per month, covering rent, utilities, fuel, and essential supplies. With growing demands and limited resources, we urgently need your support to continue this vital work.
Our Vision for the Future:
The local authorities have offered us the opportunity to purchase the SafeHouse building at an estimated cost of $15,000. Owning the premises would allow us to expand our impact and realize a transformative vision:
An Educational and Rehabilitation Center for Children with Disabilities.
This center would provide education and specialized rehabilitation services for children with disabilities, including:
1. Ramps and lifts for accessibility.
2. Modern rehabilitation equipment and facilities.
3. Transportation for children with disabilities to access the center.
How You Can Help:
1. Sponsor Monthly Operating Costs: £355 per month ensures families continue receiving shelter and support.
2. Contribute to the Purchase of SafeHouse: Help us raise $15,000 to secure this vital facility.
3. Support the Vision: Fund renovations, equipment, and transport for the new Educational and Rehabilitation Center.
Your contribution will not only provide immediate relief to families in crisis but also help us build a brighter future for children with disabilities in Ukraine.
Donate Today and be part of this life-changing mission. Together, we can make a difference!
