Spirituality, Paganism & Witchcraft - Documentary

Pagan, Wiccan, Druid: what thoughts do these words bring to mind? Hidden caves and hallowed chants? Voodoo and dark rituals?

Those images were probably never accurate, and they’re certainly not true-to-life here in the 21st century. Folk practices are seeing a resurgence. We’re going to uncover what it really means for someone to turn their back on organised religion and forge their own spiritual path.

From the ancient Druid Order to generations of energy healers, we’ll be sharing individual stories and challenging widespread myths, all while exploring what it really means to partake in the occult.

Everything is in place for shooting. We've got locations, permissions, people and a plan. All we need is the funding to make it happen.

Any size donation would be welcome, and your pledge will help pay for vital transport, equipment and access that would be otherwise out of our budget.

Emma Jane Gray - Director / Producer

“I wanted to create this documentary because I’ve always been fascinated by folklore and nature based spirituality, and always felt a connection with it. I want to educate people on what that can really look like as well as its interconnection with environmentalism as well as feminism, and to take a deep dive into how it’s surviving today. I’m super excited to get into this project and I hope it’s interesting for audiences!”
