Specialist Youth Work is a charity set up in late 2019 (plugging gaps in services due to continued cuts within the youth sector across the UK,) supporting children, young people and families in need, in crisis and or at risk. We run a variety of targeted youth work services from filming, LGBT+, Young Carers, We’ll-Being drop ins, school based & group work, counselling, to youth clubs and much more within communities. We need funding to 1) Support with project curriculum materials to deliver quality youth work programmes 2) Support training programmes for our volunteer workforce and 3) For our mobile youth bus plans we are developing, to get out into communities (as a result of the pandemic and being in lockdown(s)) to enable us to deliver outdoors and in small groups.
