Aim: A podcast that helps leaders and individuals reimagine the role of space in supporting work, wellbeing, and connection.
Why this podcast, and why now?
We’re in a pivotal moment.
Leaders are asking:
“How do we bring people back into the workplace - not just physically, but meaningfully?”
And individuals are asking:
“Where can I work at my best - in a way that supports how I want to live?”
I believe the spaces we create – physical, digital, social and cognitive – shape not just our work, but our wellbeing, relationships, and ability to thrive.
Spatial Attraction is a podcast for anyone rethinking work, culture, creativity or connection - exploring what it takes to create environments where people genuinely want to be.
We’re aiming to raise £8,000-10,000 to produce the first season - a series of 8 to10 thoughtfully crafted episodes that go deep into how space shapes human performance and potential.
This includes setup costs, original sound design, editing, accessibility (like transcripts), and strategic promotion to get it into the right ears.
If we exceed the goal, we’ll unlock bonus episodes, additional guest conversations, and seed Season Two.
What makes this podcast different
Spatial Attraction isn’t just another interview show.
Each season is carefully curated around a central theme, exploring the human side of work through the lens of environment and experience. Episodes are crafted - not just recorded - blending real stories, expert insight, sound design and layered thinking.
It’s grounded in over two decades of work at the intersection of design, innovation and workplace strategy, and it’s being created to last: listenable, shareable, and built for people who want to explore and apply these ideas meaningfully.
What the podcast will cover
The podcast is launching with three full seasons planned, each featuring 8-10 episodes.
Season One: The Energy of Place
What makes a space magnetic? From biophilia to belonging, we explore the cues and dynamics that draw people in.
Season Two: The Experience of Work
How does space shape mood, motivation and momentum? We look at rituals, rhythms, and how environments influence culture.
Season Three: Designing for Resonance
How do we align people, purpose and place? This season explores the emotional and systemic forces behind spatial design and human potential.
Sample episodes include:
Expect conversations with workplace strategists, neuroscientists, cultural thinkers, and everyday innovators who shape the spaces where we live and work.
Why I need your support
This campaign will fund the first of three seasons: with the aim of 24-30 professionally produced episodes to be released over 18-24 months.
Your backing will directly support:
And if we go beyond?
We’ll unlock bonus episodes, additional guest conversations, workplace tools and resources — and a mini-series dedicated to Workplace Innovators. Ongoing support also helps keep the podcast independent, ad-free, and shaped by the community it serves.
Why it matters
Workplaces are more than just where we get things done. They’re where ideas are shared, relationships are built, and culture takes shape.
When we design environments with intention - ones that support creativity, connection and inclusion - we don’t just create better work. We shape healthier, more connected, and more diverse communities.
If you’ve ever felt the energy of a space shift how you work or feel - this podcast is for you.
