Space 2 Be Me is a parent led charity based in Maidstone and working across Maidstone, Tonbridge & Malling and Tunbridge Wells districts in Kent.
We support disabled children through a range of clubs and holiday sessions for different age groups from age 0 through to age 25.
We have a family support team who provide training and workshops enabling parents to develop strategies to support their children. They can access support and advice and build peer support networks through our drop ins. We also work directly with parents and carers needing advice and support on a one-to-one basis.
We support the whole family by running family outings to local attractions and events, allowing them to enjoy quality time together and meet others facing similar challenges.
We run all our activities as cost effectively as possible, with a small, skilled and dedicated part time team.
We have several unfunded clubs at the moment, as well as aspects of our family support services. Please help us help provide a lifeline to our beneficiaries, help us reduce isolation, build confidence and equip them with knowledge and life skills...
