Unfortunately this project was not successful.

Petworth Park Cricket Club was re-founded in 2017 after the club had folded many years earlier.  It is an open to all, community cricket club with ClubMark accreditation and affiliation to the ECB.

In the seven years since its resurrection, PPCC has grown from a standing start, to having 3 adult league teams, a Sunday XI & T20 XI, Women's Soft Ball Cricket league team, three Junior age-group teams, and offering the ECB All Stars & Dynamos programmes.  The club has now taken on a second ground at Tillington to fulfil the growing demand, and investment in facilities is now needed at both grounds.

The progress on the field has outstripped progress in improving facilities, and now the club's main focus is on fundraising for facilities including a score-box, a Flix wicket, sight screens, pitch covers and further grounds machinery.

In order to raise the money to fund this both adult and junior members of the club are walking the 30 miles from Sussex County Cricket Club, in Hove to Petworth Park Cricket Club, along the stunning South Downs Way, in a day! We have members joining us along the way at the marathon, half marathon and 10km mark, in order to make it as accessible to all as possible. Some members are even running the whole distance!

Please help us move our amazing club forward so we can continue to provide this as a much loved community resource.

Over £200 million has been raised from our crowd to support the projects they love! Plus tens of millions more unlocked by our partners.
