SoundSlide was created to solve a common frustration with modern laptops—the lack of easy, dedicated audio controls. Adjusting volume on sleek, minimalist laptops can be cumbersome, requiring function keys or menu navigation. SoundSlide changes that, putting intuitive audio control right at your fingertips.

What is SoundSlide?

SoundSlide is a compact, touch-sensitive USB-C device that allows you to adjust your laptop’s audio with a single swipe. No more searching for the right keys or navigating through menus. Plug it in, and with SoundSlide’s plug-and-play design, you’re ready to go. It’s compatible across macOS, Windows, and Linux, requiring no additional drivers or software.

Current Progress and Future Plans

We’ve completed development and produced an initial batch of 100 units. With positive feedback in hand, we’re ready to move toward larger production. In this campaign, we’re also working to enhance the firmware with features like double-tap to mute and exploring a future version with a capacitive sensor for added durability and moisture resistance.
