We're running to protect wildlife against hunters

We take direct action against hunting live animals, shoots and other wildlife persecution across south Norfolk and beyond. 

To do this, we require a vehicle. At present we're using a group member's personal vehicle, so a collective vehicle would be much better. This way, the impact of damages to the car are minimised, and multiple group members are able to drive it.

To buy one, we're spending the month of July fundraising. We recognise finances are tight and there are lots of causes vying for attention, so we're limiting fundraising to one month to allow our supporters to focus on other causes for the rest of the year.

Inspired by the Norwich 10K, we decided that we'd do something more personal and appropriate to our message. That's how we landed on running between the kennels of our two favourite hunts: the Waveney and Norfolk Harriers, and the Dunston Harriers. At 17.2 miles, we'll be pushing ourselves, but we're always up for a challenge!

We want to preserve our members' anonymity but also offer everyone that sponsors proof that we completed the challenge. So to do this, we'll run on an undisclosed date in July and close the project at the end of the month. Then, on 1st August, we'll share the Strava accounts of everyone participating.

The £1500 goal isn't enough by itself to purchase a vehicle. That's why we'll have a number of other fundraising efforts throughout July. But we hope this will form the backbone of our money-raising campaign.
