A friend suggested I do this. I’m so careful with money but I’m struggling due to a large unexpected car repair and I can’t seem to recover from the financial hit.
It’s almost the end of the summer holidays and I’ve zero funds left, despite working and doing free activities to entertain my children.
I know lots of people are probably in a similar situation. The cost of everything has increased. I still owe £50 to my garage for my car repair. It’s only 8 days until school starts and I still need to buy school shoes and back packs. Then I owe £50 lunch money to school from last term. My wages each month aren’t large and this small amount of debt is actually crippling me. I can’t get on top of it and my head is spinning, I had £300 saved for birthdays and Christmas and it’s all gone because of my car bill. Now I’m struggling for groceries and essentials like school items.
I have no family who can help.
I’m aware there are people in worse positions but I’m struggling and I can’t see a way out.
if anyone is in a better financial position and can help, I’ll absolutely pay it forward when I’m in a better position myself.
