• Solo Parents United CIC aim is to help with loneliness.  With this in mind we want to make a full community project and achieve amazing results to help as many single/Solo parents as possible. Most of us do not plan om being a solo parent and feel we have let our kids down but in reality we are superstars. 

It can be very lonely being a single parent once the kids are in bed or go to the other parent we have a lot of time on our own and not a lot of people to talk to. 

This is the main reason for our group.  To share our journey with us we are the rainbow in the storm.  

Our vision for this project is to beable to get a community building to have a safe place for all single parents to be.  With added expert help available in person and via zoom.  A cafe, rooms to use to help solo parents businesses, training available, function room for events, workshops etc and more to be planned. 

Plus this is the big one space to house families who have either had to flee dv/da or got a section 21 and have no where else to go. Also if they are housed in a too small accommodation we can help them. Instead of being in temporary accommodation like a hotel room they will have a space for for the family and their items without having to worry.  With a community around them too. Giving them time to save for deposits or bidding on the council. 

So this project is for a multitude of amazing projects to help single parent families all under one roof.  We just need to get the roof.  Please help us help others.
