And still the donations come in -- this is fabulous! We two authors are taking a break while Head of Editorial, Anna, works flat out to get the book ready for the printers while all her helpmates are on furlough. She says:

'Just a week until we’re on press! At this point I’m tying up loose ends and applying the finishing touches: the running heads have been checked, the contents page numbers have been added and the maps are pretty much signed off. I’ve taken stock of every photo in the guide and made sure it’s print-ready, argued (and lost… repeatedly!) [not true! Hilary]  with Hilary and Janice over the best photos to use of bottle trees or which of the nine million Egyptian vulture shots is the best one, and now I’m about to tuck into Janice’s freshly prepared index.'
