Who are we?
We are Steppin' Out Academy of Performance, a dance school based in Poole, Dorset. Our 11 talented dancers have qualified to represent England at the prestigious Dance World Cup Finals 2025 in Spain. After achieving top-four placements in their respective categories, they will compete in multiple dance genres including ballet, jazz, contemporary & acro, showcasing their skills on the global stage. Notably, among the team, Tyler Vandevelde was a finalist on Britain’s Got Talent last year, and Austin Redwood reached the semi-finals the year before. Tyler has also been selected to perform alongside Ruthie Henshaw under the choreography of the incredible Stephen Mears at the Dance World Cup Gala—demonstrating the exceptional level of talent within our group.
Why are we crowdfunding?
We are crowdfunding to raise sponsorships and financial support for these exceptional dancers. Your donations will help cover essential costs such as uniforms, rehearsals, travel, and accommodation, ensuring that our dancers can fully focus on their performances and represent England at the Dance World Cup.
How we'll spend money raised?
The funds raised will be spent on:
- Uniforms for competition and training
- Rehearsal costs to ensure the dancers are fully prepared
- Travel and accommodation expenses for the competition in Spain These costs are crucial in supporting our dancers as they compete against 120,000 other competitors from over 60 countries.
