I have worked in property for 10 years, two issues have always highlighted. KEYS - PAPERWORK!
The initial key and lock was invented 6,000 years ago and hasn't changed much since. Whilst this has served us well we live in a forever changing environment, rentals and short term holiday/business stays are at an all time high with more access around the world than ever before. Yet we still use the traditional key and lock. This causes headaches! either the landlord or manager has to physically present the key to the client, or an old fashioned lock box is installed outside the property, on a "promise" they will remember to place back before leaving.
What we are found is a potion of these keys go missing, which means an uncomfortable situation is created for both owner and client. Questions are raised, money needs to be paid, uncertainty of who now has possession and access to your property.
Whilst this I unfortunate when in close proximity with the property, when the owner is overseas or a few hundred miles away it turns into major inconvenience.
Two solutions, either accept and move on or pay a locksmith to replace the whole Mortise lock handing the keys to a trusted partner and starting the process again.
Secondly Landlords ( especially with multiple properties ) have substantial document paperwork for each property. Tenancy agreements, deposit amounts, maintenance needs and completion, Identification ect. This creates a headache keeping on top of all their properties and clearly understanding the strategy moving forward.

Landlords - Through the app landlords can clearly monitor which properties are vacant, which are rented out, for how long and how much, who is contracted to the property, the contract agreement and documentation. All in one easily accessible app.
Tenants - Tenants will have full access to the lock for the time agreed on the contract. they will also have the documentation available to read. Through the features on the app tenants can raise concerns for maintenance on the building producing pictures and pending status of repairs.
Short term rental - Once a booking has been made the homeowner can send an Ecard via the app to the client gaining access to the property for the duration of their stay. They will have the option to add their fingerprint for easy entrance and will expire once the agreed term has been concluded.
