Small Sanctuary Seeking Charity Status

Aim: This important step will allow us to become registered and regulated, paving the way for bigger and better facilities for our furry friends.

Hello, my name is Jasmine, and I wear many hats! By day, I'm a dedicated zookeeper, and by night (and sometimes day too!), I'm a passionate wildlife and domestic animal rescuer that has been helping animals out of my own pocket. Up until now, myself and a few qualified animal care professionals have managed everything on our own, but with the incredible number of rescue calls we receive daily, we need a little extra help. That's where you come in!

We're thrilled to announce that we're seeking charitable donations to help us achieve charity status, this is a required donation total of 5000 towards any and all animal needs. This important step will allow us to become registered and regulated, paving the way for bigger and better facilities for our furry, feathered, and scaly friends who are on the mend or looking for their forever homes.

It might be easier to name the animals we haven't dealt with! We've cared for the smallest of marsupials, like sugar gliders, our beloved domestic companions—cats, dogs, rabbits and more! Various feathered friends, including parrots, birds of prey, and poultry, scaly dragons in the form of geckos, monitors, snakes and even larger animals such as horses, cows, and deer. That's just on top of our daily work with a wide array of zoological animals.

Our tiny but mighty team is bursting with excitement about the future. Once we secure charity status, we plan to apply for a grant to open a fantastic new center that will be open to the public. Imagine a place where you can meet and learn about our amazing animals, and maybe even fall in love with one to take home!

Every donation, no matter how big or small, makes a huge difference. And rest assured, if we don’t quite hit our target, all funds will either be returned or go directly toward essential medical care and rehousing costs for the animals. Your support will always count and help us move forward with our mission at Paws and Claws Sanctuary. We are now and will always be animal focused, not taking a single profit whilst there are animals in need.

We will be setting up new social media, so that we can reach a wider audience than our local area, we'd love for input during our journey!
