We are aiming to raise money t be split between 2 charities the eve appeal for research in to Brca gene mutations and Gynea cancer research

by Lynsey wright in Basildon, England, United Kingdom

Cancer has torn my family apart, I lost my grandad my Nan my aunt my uncle and most recently both of my parents to this horrid disease.

Through mums diagnosis we were given the opportunity to be tested for her Brca gene mutation the hereditary  breast and ovarian cancer gene also carrying increased risk of gall bladder pancreatic and skin cancers. To which we all 3 tested positive. We now have access to regular scans and testing and we have had risk reduction surgery to remove our ovaries and Fallopian tubes .

By doing this 15,000ft sky dive the highest in the uk we hope to raise money for the eve appeal for research in to Brca gene mutations and preventative procedures. And for dr Kristeleit’s fund at guys hospital researching in to Gynea cancers. Rebecca Kristeliet treated mum for 5 years and she went above and beyond providing care that was above our wildest expectations so I would like to give some thing back helping her to research in to clinical trials and treatments for the cancer know as the silent killer. Ovarian cancer.
