Never could we have imagined as a family that we would need the help and support of St Elizabeth’s Hospice. Yet, in December 2021 when mum became so unwell so quickly, they were there when we needed them the most. Members of the team gave their time and energy so freely to a group of people who were desperately trying to get to grips with a fast moving, devastating situation.
From becoming unwell in November 2021, until we lost her in January 2022, we had to adapt to the reality that our lives had changed forever. Once again the team were there with the offer of counselling for us all and ongoing support should we need it. Without their guidance and gentle approach we would have been even more lost and this is just one way to try and thank them for all that they did for us.
On Saturday 7th June at Beccles Aerodrome, I will be taking part in a tandem skydive with the hope of raising as much money as possible for St Elizabeth’s Hospice.
Please give what you can, every donation will help St Elizabeth’s Hospice to continue the fantastic work that they do and will be another way that mum has been able to do good, even though she watches us now from the stars.
