Aim: I am raising money for a special charity Make A Wish UK to help children who are terminally poorly to take control and have something unique
I am completing a 10,000ft skydive in November 2024 to raise money for Make A Wish UK. The reason for this chosen charity is that being a mother myself I cannot imagine should any child become terminally poorly. However there is 63,000 children on average in the UK who are diagnosed with terminal illness and are given this opportunity and Make A Wish UK give these children a chance to make their dreams come true.
They give the children the opportunity to make the choice about something that is unique to them, an experience they have dreamt of for example. In a time of heartbreak, sadness worry and stress, Make A Wish give the children and their families memories to cherish forever.
As you can imagine, so much money goes into making this happen and if we can all do our bit, our donation could make one, two, three or more children very happy in such an awful time.
