Skatepal Fundraiser

In 2018 I travelled to Palestine to teach skateboarding and support Skatepal in their aim of creating a sustainable skateboard scene there.  It was an amazing trip which left a lasting impression and involved lots of support from friends and local community beforehand and after keen to support the amazing young skaters in Palestine. I am absolutely stoked to say I will be heading back out in August and need your help!!!!!

SkatePal is a non-profit organisation supporting communities throughout Palestine, promoting the social, health and wellbeing benefits of skateboarding to enhance the lives of local youth. More than half of all Palestinians living in the occupied territories are under 21 years old. Yet for many young people across the West Bank and Gaza, cultural, educational and sporting opportunities are severely limited.

I hope to raise some money to help me get there but also to fundraise as much as possible for Skatepal to continue its projects which this year include regular skate classes, a new small concrete park in Ramallah for a girls orphanage and continued roles to Palestinian skaters as managers and co-ordinators of Skatepals programme. I will be part of a group of volunteers helping with skate classes in Asira and Ramallah and be accepting donations and skateboarding equipment to take over with me.
