Aim: I’m raising money to run Skateboard Graphic workshops for young people at various locations including The House Skatepark in Sheffield.

My name is Ed Syder and I’m an illustrator and skateboarder. I want to run regular Skate Graphic workshops at The House Skatepark here in Sheffield, along with events at Skateboard GB’s ‘Survival Of The Sickest’ youth competition series. I've designed skate graphics for Thrasher magazine, Foundation, OJ Wheels, Emerica, Royal Trucks, Lake Skateboards, Adored and lots of skateshops in the UK.1663945383_813d419b-93fc-432a-a208-31dcb1a31f97.jpeg

Over the last 10 years I’ve also run drawing workshops for children and young people in various settings (schools, community spaces, galleries and festivals). 1663934388_6c2268cc-42e7-4d4b-9ff2-4ea2458a4806.jpeg

These Skate Graphic workshops will teach students the basics of skate graphic design and enable them to draw their own graphic with paint pens onto a new blank skate deck that they can then take home or (even better) set up and skate themselves.

I’m applying for some Arts Council funding to develop and deliver these regular workshops over the next 12 months but your support through this crowdfunder will help me get the ball (or wheels) rolling.

I’ll be adding more backer rewards (including some cool stuff from The House skatepark) soon. Thanks!
