To allow teams to compete in the UK National Champs and European Premier event - we've qualified but need your help to make it happen!

We're still collecting donations

On the 4th April 2025 we'd raised £201 with 3 supporters in 84 days. But as every pound matters, we're continuing to collect donations from supporters.

Teams CyberByte, Octacore and Circuit Breakers Vol 4 competed in out regional qualifying event and all 3 teams were awarded with industry judged awards:

CyberBytes - Innovate award

Octacore - 2nd runner up - Inspire Award

Circuit Breakers Vol 4 - Inspire Award winner

This means that Circuit Breakers Vol 4 have now qualified for the UK National Championships, with Octacore as first reserve.

Circuit Breakers have also gained a place at the first ever FIRST Premier event in The Netherlands - competing alongside teams from across Europe and America.

As part of these competitions’ learners are responsible for raising all of their own costs.

Our predicted costs for both trips come to approximately £15,000.

Any support that you can offer will go towards:

National Champs:

* Train tickets

* Hotel costs

* Upgrades to the robotics kit

FIRST Premier:

* Flights

* Hotel costs

* Upgrades to the robotics kit

* Team branding to allow us to represent not just ourselves but our city, region and the UK at the event.

Any additional funds will be used to support our outreach activities. These are a key part of the First Tech Challenge programme and we want to inspire more students and young people to recognise that they have a place in STEM through:

* Robotics workshops

* Coding workshops

* Providing transport to hands on activities in school

As a FTC Champion Organisation we also want to support teams in our local area by:

* Offering 3D printing for parts

* Supporting teams with transport costs

* Offering practice facilities
