122 heroes and 12 days
IT'S HAPPENING!
12 days after (very) nervously launching our first crowdfunder, late in the evening of Star Wars day, your pledges reached 102% of our target and helped us take a giant leap forward. We are so unbelievably thankful to you :)
You did this
The first few days of the crowdfunder were entirely nuts. You made us laugh, cry, speechless and you made us dance. We didn't mention the dancing in case it put you off but you can bet that it happened a lot. After the first week, we had passed £10,000 and although we wouldn't come out and say as much, we knew we were very much on target to hit the goal. We pushed and promoted as much as we thought was appropriate. We didn't want to spend all day, every day badgering everyone and so when you all started pushing and promoting it for us, we were speechless once again.

Thank you for every pound and thank you for your belief in what we do. So much so that you'd tell all your pals about us too. You absolutely rock!
Where's the stretch target?
With hindsight, we've decided not to enable a stretch target. We'd planned to open things up and aim for £15,000 but these past 12 days have taken all of our head space. When we decided on the crowdfunder, we didn't just pluck a figure out of the air, we did calculate precisely what we think we needed and now that we've reached it, we can turn our attention back to the matter in hand, of creating the finest hot sauce lab in all the land.
So is that it?
Pretty much yes from us. We're leaving the page open until it's official closing day, 14 days from now. There's still time for people to snag the rewards offering credit and if you know of anyone who might like to grab some of that action, please do point them at the page. As for us, we're going to stop pushing it now. We've got a lab to build and a future to bring you.
