The father of my children moved out and stopped providing financial support, leaving me to raise two toddlers on my own.

Hello everyone, I want to share a short story about how I became a single parent, facing the challenge of raising my two children without any support. My second child was born in August this year, but a few months earlier, the father of my children and I separated after he refused to take responsibility unless I had an abortion. He moved out before the birth and stopped providing financial support. I discovered the pregnancy at three months and couldn’t bring myself to have an abortion as it felt wrong to me. Despite hoping he would change his mind, he didn’t.

He was the primary provider, and I urgently need financial help as bills keep piling up. I am already in significant debt trying to cover my children’s basic needs and rent while also lacking the funds to send my older child to kindergarten. I’ve consulted a lawyer about child support, but the process is slow, and I have no siblings or financially stable parents to assist. While my parents have helped where they can, they lack savings and can’t provide ongoing support. After exhausting help from friends and relatives, I turned to online donations for assistance.

Thank you for taking the time to read this. I deeply appreciate any support you can offer during this challenging time!
